- General Purpose -

Prepare and develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for project bidding, ensuring accurate cost estimation, competitiveness, and compliance with client requirements.

- Key Responsibilities -

Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.

Assess tender requirements, deadlines, and prioritize bids effectively to meet submission schedules.

Prepare and present detailed cost estimates and commercial proposals for management approval.

Develop technical proposals including project schedules, manpower planning, and equipment planning.

Coordinate with the Procurement Department to request and verify supplier quotations.

Collect and evaluate quotations from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Perform cost estimation related to steel structure, piping, and fabrication works, including weight calculation, material selection, and fabrication processes.

Work closely with engineering and procurement teams to ensure accurate steel material costing and alignment with technical specifications.

Respond to client clarifications and inquiries after bid submission.

Ensure proposals are compliant, competitive, and aligned with company strategy to maximize success in project bidding.

Maintain updated records of past bids, cost databases, and supplier information for future reference.

Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields).

- Experience :

Minimum 2 years of experience in proposal preparation, cost estimation, or bidding for industrial/construction projects.

Experience with steel structure, fabrication, or EPC projects is strongly preferred.

Experience in heavy industry, oil & gas, or EPC projects is an advantage.

- Skills :

Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimation and data evaluation.

Good understanding of steel materials, fabrication processes, and related standards (e.g. ASTM, ASME, JIS).

Good command of written and spoken English (for client communication and reporting).

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with cost estimation software/tools.

Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to coordinate across departments.

Strong time management and organizational skills to meet strict tender deadlines.

Detail-oriented with the ability to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
