【Main Duty】
The Contracts Engineer will be responsible for the preparation, negotiation, administration, and management of contracts and subcontracts related to the EPC of offshore oil and gas platforms and brownfield modification works. The role ensures compliance with company policies, client requirements, and industry standards while minimizing commercial and contractual risks.

【Job Description】
◯Contract Preparation & Review：Drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts, subcontracts, and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
・Ensure contract terms and conditions are aligned with company policies and project requirements.
・Identify and highlight contractual and commercial risks, and draft clarification and qualification for contractual and commercial
◯Contract Administration
・Support the Contracts Manager / Project Manager in the day-to-day management of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
・Maintain contract records, correspondence, and variation/change order logs.
・Track key contractual obligations and deliverables to ensure compliance.
・Support and advise project team on matters of contractual interpretation
◯Claims & Variations / Change Orders
・Prepare, review, and support the negotiation of claims, variations, extensions of time, and change orders.
・Collect and analyze supporting documentation for claims submissions.
・Liaise with project teams to ensure timely identification of potential claims.
◯Commercial Support
・Support the tendering process by reviewing contract terms during bid preparation.
・Assist in preparing commercial clarifications and qualifications for proposals.
・Conduct contract close-out, including final accounts and settlement of claims.
◯Stakeholder Management
・Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement, planning, and finance teams to ensure contract compliance and efficient execution.
・Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors while protecting company interests.

Industry: Oil & Gas (EPC of Offshore Platforms and Brownfield Modification Works)

Reports to: Contracts Manager / Commercial Manager / Marketing Manager

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

【Requirement】
・Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Administration, or related discipline.
・Experience in contract administration/management within the oil & gas or heavy construction industry, preferably in EPC or platform construction projects.
・Strong knowledge of contract laws, FIDIC or similar typical standard forms of contracts used in the oil and gas industry.
・Proven experience handling claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes.
・Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
・Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
・Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of contract management software is an advantage.
・Upper Intermediate Level of English （TOEIC 750 Up）
