[About the Project]
You will be joining an international research team led by Japanese and Thai professors investigating microplastic presence, distribution and mitigation strategies in aquatic and terrestrial environments.

You’ll play a key role in laboratory-based experiments, data collection and cross-cultural coordination aimed at advancing sustainable solutions to plastic pollution.

[Job Description]
- Laboratory support and maintenance
- Set up and maintain research instruments and workspaces
- Preparing chemical reagents and standard solutions
- Experimental work
- Assist with, then independently conduct, experiments on microplastic sampling and analysis
- Operate analytical instruments (e.g., microscope, FT-IR)
- Data and documentation
- Record and organize experimental results, maintain lab notebooks
- Assist with regulatory paperwork, permits and safety protocols
- Communication and coordination
- Liaise with suppliers to order consumables and equipment
- Interpret and translate technical materials (English ←→ Thai) for professors and collaborators
- Coordinate meetings and field activities with government agencies, university partners (Thai & Japanese), NGOs and private sector stakeholders

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

[Requirements]
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology or related field
- Language Skills:Native Thai speaker with strong English proficiency (CEFR B1+ / TOEIC ≥ 600) Japanese language ability is a plus but not required
- Hands-on experience with chemical handling and laboratory safety
- Familiarity with analytical instrumentation (desired)
- Highly organized, proactive and punctual
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
