JOB DETAIL
Seasonal Buying Responsibilities
•Lead the seasonal buying process, curating and segmenting the optimal product assortments across consignment stores and eCommerce platforms to align with company vision and local market preferences.
•Develop and implement seasonal and annual merchandise plans that support company financial objectives and strategic growth initiatives.
•Prepare data and insights are provided for optimal purchasing decisions.
•Oversee product lifecycle management, from initial selection to end-of-season stock liquidation, balancing inventory to reduce excess stock and achieve targeted sell-through rates.
•Ensure that curated assortments resonate with the company’s identity and market relevance.
Weekly Reporting and Analysis
•Execute weekly sales analysis, identifying opportunities and recommending actions to improve store and channel performance from a product perspective.
•Generate and provide regular updates on sell through performance of key models and sales performance to cross-functional teams at the beginning of each season and on a weekly basis.
•Review Out-of-Stock reports and low-productivity items, generating action plans to improve stock productivity, and reduce markdown exposure.
•Conduct in-season and post-season analytics to support hindsight reviews and enhance future buying strategies.
Day-to-Day Allocation
•Working with Sales Manager to develop and execute allocation plans based on seasonal strategies, weekly sales, store inventory levels, and individual store performance to optimize inventory flow.
•Adjust allocations weekly using analytics, ensuring that stock is balanced across stores to maximize sell-through and minimize stock-outs.
•Balance inventory across stores by analyzing sell-through rates, demographic insights, store capacity, and sales performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration
•Partner with Product, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Marketing teams to align on product strategy, campaign transitions, and seasonal flows.
•Provide clear and timely communication with stakeholders on allocation adjustments, inventory availability, and sales insights, supporting consistent company alignment.
•Support new system implementations and enhance workflows to raise efficiency, optimizing processes and improving cross-functional communication.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
• Male or Female age 27 - 35 years old
• Passion for the game of golf and the golf industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a buying and/or allocation role, ideally with mid-to-large apparel retailer.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in retail mathematics, Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), and experience with Allocation and BI tools.
• Proven ability to manage seasonal buys, weekly inventory updates, and day-to-day allocation, balancing priorities and deadlines.
• A keen eye for design and aesthetics, with the ability to create visually compelling merchandising displays. Innovative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English and Thai
• This role is based in Thailand but with coverage over SEA
