JOB DETAIL

• Plan operations to eliminate risks in the establishment (construction unit) and ensure continuous implementation.
• Prepare recommendations on preventing hazards from accidents, disasters, and controlling risks within the establishment (construction unit).
• Develop manuals and standards on personal safety that are appropriate to the nature of the job risks, to be presented to employers for the benefit of employees or involved parties.
• Specify types of personal protective equipment appropriate to the nature of the job risks, to be presented to employers for employees or involved parties to wear during work.
• Promote and support academic and operational activities of various departments within the establishment to ensure that employees are free from incidents that could cause harm or illness due to work, including fire prevention and severe accident control.
• Conduct training on basic knowledge and practices regarding workplace safety for new employees and provide training (Morning Talk) before commencing work, including for employees who have to perform different tasks than usual which may be hazardous.
• Coordinate workplace safety operations with various internal and external departments, including relevant government agencies.
• Inspect and evaluate the overall safety system of the establishment.
• Compile the results of safety operations from safety officers at all levels and monitor the progress to ensure compliance with the establishment's policies and plans, reporting to the employer and the committee every three months.
• Attend construction project meetings to report on safety and respond to the project owner's inquiries in case of incidents, and propose prevention methods.
• Perform other workplace safety tasks as assigned by the employer.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Male or Female, 25 years old and above
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Safety Officer Experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Good knowledge of laws related to occupational health and safety
• Able to work Monday to Saturday
• Able to work on-site in Bangkok
