JOB DETAIL

- Support for filing patent applications and obtaining patent rights for affiliated companies in Southeast Asia, mainly in Thailand
- Conducting intellectual property education for affiliated companies
- Quality check of patent applications of Mitsubishi Electric affiliated companies in Thailand
- Countermeasures against counterfeit products in cooperation with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
- Search new ideas and new technologies to develop company's products and follow competitors’ development to avoid any infringement cases.
- Conduct and participate in invention related research meetings.
- Study and analyses all detail of inventions and identify inventions that require to be patented.
- Support inventors in a wide variety of tasks including (but not limited to): the preparation of technology trend, invention disclosures, prior art
- searches, drafting patents, retrieving of legal status information, patent prosecution, and maintenance decisions.
- Maintain and manage database relating to all patent procedures and processes.
- Provide periodic overview and reports of the competitive patent landscape and trend of competitors.
- Other assignments as required.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Male and Female (Thai Nationality)
- Age 25-35 years old
- Bachelor degree or above in physics, mechanical, electrics, electronics or other engineering, law or related field. (prefer engineering or sciences education background )
- At least 3 years of working experience in a company’s intellectual property department or patent law firm
- Preferred Licensed patent agent/attorney, Experience in drafting patent applications
- Fluency in English or Japanese
- Office and document administration
- Presentation skill with various tools (MS PowerPoint, etc)
- Teamwork and Human relations
