Overview
Logistics Planning Division(LPD) belongs to a regional headquarters that manages warehouse and distribution business in approximately 15 countries within the South Asia and Oceania region. Our role is to plan and develop the expansion of the warehouse and distribution business within the region. The direct sales contact with customers is handled by representatives of each local operating company, while LPD provides them with support, guidance, and oversight. The main roles of LPD are as follows:
1. Warehouse and Distribution business management
1-1. Proposal support
1-2. Design support, including design content: operations, warehouse layout, IT system, staff planning, office works
1-3. Launch support, including progress management, issue management, quality control, cost management, BRD/SOP creation, educational materials creation, and launch planning
1-4. Improvement support, including current situation analysis, visualization, problem extraction, and countermeasure implementation
1-5. Service planning and development
1-6. Education and training
# As needed, the above six items may require on-site support, including overseas business trips.
2. Planning for divisional business improvement
3. Collaboration with other divisions
4. Reporting to management
5. General office duties

Report to Deputy General Manager / Manager of Logistics Planning Division
Supervises to Assistant Manager / Supervisor / Associate

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Min 5 years of related experience in warehouse operations
2. Hands-on experience in 3PL warehouse operations, ability to visualize the warehouse operation process.
3. Prior experience focusing on contract logistics and operational improvements (cost reduction, 5S, visual boards)
4. Strong knowledge in resource model calculation for warehousing RFQs
5. Strong knowledge of WMS, automation systems, and supply chain optimization.
6. Basic knowledge of freight forwarding is a plus
7. Project management experience is a plus
8. Bonus advantage if experienced in the Automobile, Semiconductor, FMCG, Electronics, or Pharmaceuticals industry.
9. Utility player - able to thrive in multiple directions.
10. Humbleness, willingness to learn, goal-oriented, curiosity, and a cost-conscious personality will complete the ideal profile

Language Skills:
Japanese and English are the principal language for this position however any other foreign language would be advantageous. The position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural

Analytical Skills
1. High Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, especially in Excel / PowerPoint. Power BI, Tableau are a plus.
2. Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in cost calculation, data collection and reporting.
3. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to drive improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
4. Communication: Communicates effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
5. Adaptability: Capable of managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
