JOB DETAIL

Consumer Insight & Research Management
- Lead end-to-end consumer research projects (briefing, design, execution, analysis, and insight storytelling)
- Manage both quantitative research (tracking, U&A, segmentation, surveys, data analysis) and qualitative research (FGD, IDI, ethnography, in-home/shopper studies)
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and business recommendations
- Identify consumer trends, behaviors, motivations, and unmet needs to support business growth

Data-Driven & Business Support
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Brand, Product, Retail, Sales) to define research objectives and success metrics
- Support strategic decisions using consumer insights, market data, and performance indicators
- Build insight frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools to enable data-driven decision-making
- Ensure insights are grounded in both consumer understanding and business reality

Team Leadership & Project Ownership
- Lead, coach, and develop the consumer insight team to deliver high-quality output
- Oversee project planning, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Ensure consistent research standards, methodologies, and best practices across projects
- Foster a culture of curiosity, analytical thinking, and insight excellence within the team

Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Manage external research agencies and vendors when required (briefing, evaluation, quality control)
- Leverage agency expertise while maintaining strong in-house ownership of insights
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Psychology, or related fields
- 6–8+ years of experience in Consumer Insight / Market Research roles
- In-house experience strongly preferred (agency background previously is acceptable)
- Solid hands-on experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proven experience in leading a team and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and insight storytelling skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven organizations (Retail / FMCG / Tech / Telecom is a plus)

Nice to Have
- Experience setting up insight frameworks or internal insight capability
- Exposure to regional or multi-market research
- Familiarity with dashboard tools or advanced analytics
