【About Company】
A global retailer specializing in merchandise from a world-famous game franchises is looking for a Merchandising Operation Assistant Manager to support end-to-end merchandising operations and ensure store readiness for sales activities.
This role plays a key part in inventory planning, logistics coordination, and cross-functional collaboration, while working closely with Japan Head Office and local stakeholders to support store performance and marketing campaigns.
*Shop is expected to be opened in late 2026.

Timeline:
- Expected Started Working date: Early June 2026.

【Job Description】
Product Planning & Inventory Management
• Ensure ready-to-sell stock availability by coordinating with Store Operations on product delivery and inventory control
• Analyze sales data and customer trends to support replenishment planning and new product launches
• Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Manage and maintain SKU database accuracy, ensuring system data matches actual inventory
Logistics & Import Control
• Coordinate with logistics partners and warehouses to ensure on-time procurement and shipment
• Oversee import control processes and ensure compliance with Thai Customs and TISI regulations
• Monitor delivery performance and resolve logistics-related issues efficiently
Supplier & Order Management
• Place periodic merchandise orders with Japan Head Office
• Prepare and submit monthly inventory and merchandising reports to Japan HQ
• Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure accurate orders and efficient merchandising operations
Communication & Cross-functional Coordination
• Translate merchandising-related content between Thai, Japanese, and English as required
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support store operations and strategic initiatives
• Support daily merchandising operations including stock maintenance, replenishment, and campaign readiness
• Contribute to store sales performance and promotional execution
• Other tasks assigned by company

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

[Requirements]
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related major are preferred
• Must have Business-Level English Skill (*Preferred to have Business-Level Japanese Proficiency (JLPT N2 or above) but not necessary)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail merchandising or store operations
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Experience in specialty retail, fast-paced, or cross-cultural environments is an advantage

Skills & Competencies
• Knowledge of merchandising principles, inventory management, and import regulations
• Strong leadership, project coordination, and supplier management skills
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and trends
• Experience with inventory systems (ERP / POS) is a plus
• Strong multi-tasking, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
