JOB DETAIL
- Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency by scheduling maintenance during non-peak hours.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing direction, support, and training.
- Develop and Implement Maintenance Schedules
- Create and manage a regular maintenance schedule to prevent unplanned downtimes.
- Track and document all maintenance activities, ensuring equipment complies with safety standards.
- Keep track of equipment parts and maintain adequate inventory of necessary repair supplies and tools.
- Coordinate with vendors to procure parts, negotiate contracts, and schedule service calls when needed.
- Manage the maintenance budget, monitoring expenditures and controlling costs.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures, whether through improved processes, supplier negotiations, or energy efficiency improvements.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a plus.)
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial position of food & beverage industries.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate maintenance teams, manage performance, and develop staff. Problem-Solving Skills
- Solid understanding of safety standards, regulations, and procedures in industrial or facility environments.
