1. Strategic Operations Management
· Plan and oversee all import/export operations to ensure timely, compliant delivery of goods.
· Supervise and support the import/export team to maintain documentation accuracy and procedural efficiency.
· Develop and implement policies and procedures for international trade and logistics.
2. Procurement & Sales Coordination
· Oversee creation and approval of Purchase Orders and Sales-related export documentation.
· Coordinate with procurement, sales, production, and finance teams to align supply chain and customer requirements.
· Evaluate and manage suppliers, shipping agents, and freight forwarders for performance and cost efficiency.
3. Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure compliance with customs, tax, and international trade laws (CIF, FOB, Form D, AC, AD regulations).
· Maintain updated knowledge of ASEAN and international free trade agreements.
· Manage and resolve issues related to customs clearance, import permits, and export declarations.
· Lead internal trade compliance audits and implement corrective actions.
4. Financial & Performance Oversight
· Control logistics costs and analyze freight trends for cost-saving opportunities.
· Review and approve freight, duty, and tax-related payments.
· Prepare management reports on shipment performance, cost analysis, and customs matters.
5. Leadership & Communication
· Lead, train, and evaluate import/export officers and coordinators.
· Act as the primary contact for government agencies, customs authorities, and trade-related organizations.
· Communicate effectively across departments and with international partners.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
· Minimum 7 years of experience in import/export operations, including at least 4 years in a managerial or assistant manager role.
· Strong knowledge of Incoterms, HS Codes, CIF, Form D, AC/AD regulations, and trade compliance.
· Experience in steel or raw material import/export is a strong advantage.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English
· Proficient in systems and MS Office applications.
· Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
