Job Description
• Analyze customer requirements and conduct site inspections
Visit industrial customer sites to collect electrical system data.
Assess and analyze power quality issues such as voltage sags, harmonic distortion, and power factor problems.
• Design solutions and prepare technical proposals
Collaborate with design engineers to calculate and select appropriate equipment, such as Active Harmonic Filters, Capacitor Banks, and Voltage Stabilizers.
Prepare quotations, technical proposals, electrical diagrams (Single Line Diagrams), and BOQs.
Present information to decision-makers from both engineering and procurement departments.
• Sales and customer relationship management
Plan and execute both proactive and responsive sales strategies.
Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new customers in target groups such as industrial factories, office buildings, hospitals, and data centers.
Monitor project status and adjust proposals to align with customer budgets and needs.
• Coordinate with internal departments
Collaborate with engineering, design, procurement, and installation teams to deliver projects according to requirements and timelines.
Check equipment readiness and provide technical support during installation.
• Provide consulting and after-sales support
Offer basic guidance on the use and maintenance of Power Quality equipment.
Coordinate with the after-sales service team when customers encounter issues.
Collect feedback and suggestions from customers for service improvement.
• Prepare reports and related documents
Create customer visit reports, sales reports, site condition reports, and power quality analysis summaries.
Record data in the CRM system and follow up consistently.
• Support marketing activities
Participate in and support promotional events such as seminars, exhibitions, and customer training sessions.
Present products or solutions through online activities such as webinars or the company’s social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the sales team and engineers
Understand technical product details and translate that knowledge into content that is accessible to target customers.
Support sales through brand credibility and effective sales collateral.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Power Engineering.
• At least 2–5 years of experience in sales or electrical/control systems engineering.
Experience with leading brands like ABB, Schneider, Siemens or with Power Quality/UPS solutions is a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of power quality improvement equipment at low and medium voltage levels, such as active filters, shunt capacitor banks, and SVGs. Able to deliver professional presentations.
• Basic understanding of power quality standards (e.g., IEEE 519, PEA/MEA/EGAT standards), and ability to interpret parameters like THD, PF, kW, kVAR, and demand, and connect them to PQ products.
• Able to explain proposals or BOQs and recommend specific products in the PQ category clearly.
• Strong sales and communication skills, able to analyze customer needs (e.g., voltage sag issues, high electricity costs, utility penalties) and match them with suitable products or solutions within budget.
• Solid technical knowledge of factory electrical systems (load, distribution, power factor, harmonics), and able to read and analyze electrical diagrams (Single Line Diagrams).
• Skilled in negotiation, technical sales presentations, and proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, basic design, and load analysis software. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Responsible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. Passionate about sales, willing to visit customers in upcountry areas, able to work in teams and collaborate smoothly with technical departments.
• Must have a driver's license and be able to travel to visit customers outside the province.
• English communication skills are a plus.
