JOB DETAIL
**[About This Position]**
This is a back-office role at a Japanese trading company located in the Asoke area of central Bangkok.
While the primary responsibility is accounting, the role also includes administrative and HR duties. (*Since there is also a branch in Sriracha, responsibilities will extend to accounting/GA/HR tasks for the Sriracha office as well.)
Currently, there are two back-office staff members, and with this new hire, the team will expand to three people.
【**Accounting Responsibilities**】
- Since bookkeeping is outsourced to a consulting firm, only basic daily accounting experience is required.
- Oversee all financial functions, ensuring accuracy in accounting documents, calculations, and compliance.
- Review and manage bank statements, deposits, reconciliations, and banking transactions, including bank guarantees.
- Handle cash flow management, forecasting reports, and invoice processing for both customers and suppliers across all branches.
- Estimate cash flows and payments, prepare payment vouchers, petty cash transactions, and cost summaries (e.g., gasoline, toll fees, communication expenses).
- Issue cheques, record prepaid expenses, and process financial documentation for payments.
- Conduct tax-related tasks, including calculating and submitting monthly taxation (PND 1, 3, 53, VAT PP 30), tax withholding certificates, and export sales records.
- Prepare financial documents for accounts payable/receivable setup, tax invoices, billing, and reporting.
- Maintain inventory records, stock reports, balance sheets, and purchase/sales summaries to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Submit documentation to auditors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies (Business Development, Revenue Department, Social Security Office, Bank of Thailand, Board of Investment of Thailand).
- Track customer payments, manage debt collection processes, and confirm transactions with banks.
- Generate comprehensive reports on company financial performance, monthly sales figures, delayed payments, and forecasting for senior management.

【**General Administration (GA) Tasks**】
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of company information, storing data appropriately.
- Manage employee registrations within government and internal company systems.
- Update company policies and regulations according to Thai labor laws.
- Track and manage employee attendance, leave, absences, and insurance enrollments.
- Maintain relationships with government and private institutions, handling documentation for business development, tax submissions, social security, labor, investment boards, and insurance companies.
- Prepare annual reports and compliance documents for relevant authorities, ensuring legal adherence.
- Maintain company directories, organizational charts, and track company asset inventory updates.
- All other tasks assigned by companies
【**Human Resources (HR) Tasks**】
- Support for Japanese expatriates.(*VISA/WORKPERMITS/BOOKING supports and etc...)
- Develop and update job descriptions, salary budgets, and employee compensation plans.
- Oversee recruitment processes, including drafting job advertisements, onboarding, and orientation for new employees.
- Conduct employee evaluations, monitor performance, and provide workplace counseling.
- Manage benefits administration, including group insurance, employee welfare programs, and termination procedures.
- Coordinate exit interviews and propose improvements to HR policies and strategies.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring adherence to labor laws and corporate policies.
- Recommend new HR policies to enhance company operations and employee satisfaction.
- All other tasks assigned by companies
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
[Requirements]
- Must have a bachelor's degree in any field.
- Must have at least 4 years of accounting experience at a Japanese company.
- Minimum of 4 years of continuous employment at a single company (experience in Japanese companies or trading firms preferred).
- Must have business-level proficiency in either English or Japanese (Guideline: TOEIC 500+ or JLPT N3 and above).
