JOB DETAIL

-Oversee department operations and handle necessary cases.
-Collaborate with the General Manager/Director to structure the D&D department.
-Develop strategies to enhance the department’s performance.
-Define roles and responsibilities clearly.
-Monitor progress and ensure tasks are on track.
-Guide and mentor staff to foster a strong designer mindset.
-Provide support and maintain a positive work environment.
-Set annual targets and track monthly achievements.
-Identify areas for improvement and take necessary actions.
-Report progress and challenges to upper management.
-Continuously train design staff to enhance their skills.
-Be prepared for business trips to Japan for hands-on learning at Kasai-Japan.
-Ensure a productive and well-maintained workplace.
-Handle additional tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

-Bachelor's in mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, or Material Engineering, with
- More than8 years in automotive design.
- Proficient in CAD, 2D/3D drawing, CATIA (V5/NX preferred), and material specifications (PP, PPC, POM, ABS, etc.).
- Familiar with injection molding, press molding, high-frequency welding, and cost reduction activities.
- Experience in managing employees and leading design teams across departments.
- English proficiency (TOEIC 500+) or Japanese preferred.
-Can sometime, travel, and work abroad if required.
- Ability to manage expenses, analyze costs, and optimize budget
- Experience working with foreign teams will be advantage
