JOB DETAIL

1. IT System Implementation & Project Management
• Lead end-to-end IT projects for retail operations, including POS, CRM, Inventory, Payment, and E-Commerce integration
• Coordinate with the Japan HQ IT team, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
• Ensure smooth transition and setup of IT infrastructure for the company’s new store locations

2. IT Support & Troubleshooting for Retail Operations
• Act as the primary IT point of contact for store-related system issues and escalations
• Work closely with Japan IT Team and external vendors to resolve technical issues
• Ensure system performance, uptime, and minimal disruptions for daily store operations

3. Retail Digital Transformation & System Optimization
• Recommend and implement new technologies to enhance store efficiency and customer experience
• Support omnichannel retail strategies, including e-commerce integration with in-store operations
• Ensure IT systems are aligned with global company standards and compliance requirements

4. IT Security & Compliance
• Work with the Japan IT team to ensure data security, access management, and compliance with global IT policies
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR and PCI-DSS for secure payments

5. Training & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Provide technical training to store employees and internal teams for new IT system rollouts
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure IT systems support business objectives

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Education & Background:
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• IT certifications (PMP, ITIL, Agile/Scrum) are a plus

2. Work Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, particularly in retail industry IT systems
• Hands-on experience in implementing POS, CRM, Inventory, and payment solutions
• Experience with global IT teams, vendor management, and third-party service providers

3. Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of retail IT systems (POS, CRM, Inventory, ERP, E-Commerce)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IT infrastructure
• Ability to manage IT security, compliance, and system integration projects

4. Soft Skills:
• Excellent project management & stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams in Japan HQ & global offices
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership abilities

5. Language & Other Requirements:
• English proficiency: Business Level or higher
