Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Leadership:
• Drive the company’s operational planning and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO.
• Lead and manage operations in alignment with the company’s mission and core values.
• Work with management to create, implement, and roll out operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems, and company policies.
Business Development:
• Analyze and develop strategies for business growth and development.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Conduct P&L performance analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop appropriate solutions.
Team Oversight & Employee Engagement:
• Provide leadership and direction to HR, Marketing, Commercial, and Non-Commercial teams to achieve business goals.
• Motivate and encourage employees at all levels, from professional staff to management-level personnel.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and engagement within the organization.
Operational Excellence:
• Oversee all operations within the company, ensuring adherence to quality and operational objectives.
• Conduct inspections and audits as necessary, developing and implementing action plans to address findings.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across operational processes.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
Experience & Background:
• 3+ years of experience as an Operations Manager or General Manager in a retail company.
• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce (EC business) is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of managing HR, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree is required; MSc/MBA is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to lead teams and optimize business value while engaging with key internal and external stakeholders.
Languages:
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in Japanese is a significant advantage.
