The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the recording and reconciliation of AR, AP, and journal entries within our manufacturing company. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and supporting the Accounting Manager in month-end and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Example;
1. Record and reconcile AR transactions to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collections.
2. Maintain accurate general ledger accounts for AR, AP, and journal entries.
3. Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to resolve AR and AP issues and ensure proper accounting treatment.
4. Assist the Accounting Manager with month-end and year-end closings, including financial statement preparation and reconciliations.
5. Support financial reporting, providing timely information for management decision-making.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, focusing on AR, AP, and journal entries; experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
3. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and a solid understanding of AR and AP processes.
5. Experience with ERP systems and familiarity with manufacturing operations.
