JOB DETAIL

- Keep monitoring web application firewall, database firewall, vulnerability assessment implementation, including tuning WAF rules based on vulnerabilities and attacks leverage automation for testing and ensuring false positives are motivated.
- Maintain cyber security quality by focusing on web application security in perspectives of offensive and defensive thinking.
- Be responsible for creating necessary project artifacts in associating with project delivery and/or knowledge transfer.
- Be responsible for handling the Proof of Concept (POC) in any web based scenario requested by the Sales team or customers.
- Monitor overall system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Provide guidance and advice for web application security knowledge and resolution.
- Cooperate with product suppliers to provide detailed troubleshooting and root cause investigation.
- Be responsible for day-to-day basis standby service and 24x7 operation.
- Perform technologies/products/news research, self-discovery, and then share the findings of technologies/products/news to customers and internal teams.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
- Hands-on scripting programming experiences in following languages: Python, PHP, SQL (at least one of them).
- Hands-on experiences in following APIs: JSON, REST, SOAP or Oauth (at least one of them).
- Hands-on experiences in Web Application Firewall, Database Firewall, Vulnerability Assessment.
- Comprehensive knowledge in web application attack and defense (OWASP Top 10).
- Comprehensive knowledge or relevant experiences in cyber security network and hardware.
- Comprehensive knowledge or relevant experiences in web server technologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge or relevant experiences in Capture the Flags (CTF) Challenges.
- Service-mind and presentation skills are useful.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Practical English reading comprehension.
- Be able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Professional certifications such as CEH, ECSA, CySA+, GWEB or equivalent is a big plus
