- Negotiating the price of shipment transportation with carriers
- Keeping shipping operations within budget without compromising speed or efficiency
- Processing shipment documentation both import and export and inspecting completed orders
- Creating and implementing shipping (Import & Export) policies and procedures
- Hiring, training, and supervising shipping employees
- Acting as a liaison between management, carriers, and shipping customers
- Collaborating with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment
- Documenting processes and reporting to management as required
- Evaluating carrier performance and resolving issues with orders and logistics
- ISO9001 and ISO14001
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective both local and overseas procurement
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods
- Preparing procurement reports

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Age 35-45 years old
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or similar preferred
- More than 7-10 years experience in procurement of both Local and Overseas Sources with import -Export and Customs procedures and other privileges of international trade and BOI the shipping industry. Working in Import-Export and Purchasing at the Manager level for at least 5 years
- Good communication and correspondence both Thai and English
- TOEIC score 500 up
- Experience and knowledge of global supply chain operations
- Experience in negotiation contracts and commercial terms and conditions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
- In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and shipping documentation.
- Extensive budgeting and reporting experience.
- Advanced analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
