JOB DETAIL

・To support reviewing the purchasing of all raw materials in AP region, and consolidating it to the Regional Purchasing.
・To share knowledge and experiences as a purchasing, to work with Global and Regional purchasing teams to help group purchasing.
・To undertake additional role of purchasing of selected key materials at a regional level by working with Regional Procurement Manager and regional/global purchasing team.
・Partner with global and regional purchasing teams to explore & optimize group purchasing and cost saving opportunities.
・To support to establish relevant purchasing governance & good practices to adhere to the requirements in the negotiation of purchase price and supply conditions.
・Develop new suppliers to contribute in terms of cost saving, material sourcing sustainability.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

【Must】
・Male only
・Age 40 Up
・Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related chemical
・Minimum 10 years of relevant purchasing experience in Polymer resin products or in the Chemical industry
・Over 5 years of management experience
・Upper Intermediate of level.

【Key point】
・Especially, preferable to have experience to engage in global/regional consolidated purchasing in Global key paint/resin suppliers like AKZO, PPG, Eternal, Arkema, Allnex, etc
・Excellent knowledge in procurement skill at a global/regional level, well informed of Chemical industries’ business custom and latest business trend.
・A strategic & analytical thinker with the ability to leverage on data analytics to interpret information & translate into business strategies to achieve effective cost saving management.
・Effective communication, direct negotiation & influencing skills
・Committed to work efficiency & effectiveness with frequent business trips to foreign countries.
・Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
