JOB DETAIL

• Work very closely with qa/tester, product owner and developers across the team
• Hands on experience or technical skills to other SRE and developers
• Initiate ideas/solutions for leading team to be able to solve problem together
• Prepare and setup infrastructure for environment in product development area
• Maintain uptime and availability of services
• Standby during on call shift and response to emergency call
• Implement change to infrastructure by coding terraform and also Improve/maintain/refactor the code
• Create task and write the task detail in kanban board
• Create technical documentation such as applying infrastructure change, infrastructure topology, infrastructure specification, code structure design, etc.
• Achieve the task with team by completing task before the task miss SLA
• Unbound the boundary between development team and operation team
• Setup and maintain development automation such as pipeline in CI/CD, Instance auto scaling, monitoring and alert
• Review and make an approval to the change of infrastructure
• 2nd Level Support incident resolution and next action to further improvement to reduced costs or revenue losses for the organization resulting from incidents

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Graduated or experienced in faculty/area of technology/network/software development.
• Have experience in operation/infrastructure/devops/SRE area for 6+ years
• Experience in at least one of the following languages/ technologies
○ JavaScript/ TypeScript
○ Golang
○ Python
• Experience in various of following infrastructure or related technologies in deep level
○ Cloud technology (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Digital Ocean, etc.)
○ Container engine (Docker, Podman, etc.)
○ Database technology (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
○ Search engine and analytic technology (Elasticsearch)
○ Monitoring/Metric base technology (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana, etc.)
○ Mesh/Tracing technology (Linkerd, Istio, Kuma, Jaeger, Zipkin)
○ CI/CD (GitlabCI, Jenkins, Codeship, etc.)
○ Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloudformation, etc.)
• Self-motivated and have willingness to learn new technologists at all levels
• Understand the networking between services and various protocol in each layer
• Understand service deployment pipeline or CI/CD
• Understand kanban or scrum methodology
• Understand the detail of OSI 7-layer model
• Have communication skills and able to explain the technical detail to people
• Ability to hand on experience to other employees
