1. Factory Operations & Production Efficiency
- Lead manufacturing strategies to achieve productivity targets (OEE, yield, scrap, downtime).
- Oversee batch house, furnace, IS forming, annealing, inspection, and packaging lines.
- Provide directions on equipment setup, process optimization, and production stability.
- Manage production performance and drive continuous cost improvement (energy, manpower, raw materials).
2. Quality Management
- Ensure product quality, food-grade compliance, and customer specifications.
- Lead QA/QC systems, cold-end inspection, and defect reduction initiatives.
- Implement and maintain standards such as ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, FSSC, etc.
- Reduce customer complaints and improve first-pass yield.
3. Maintenance & Engineering
- Lead preventive (PM), predictive (PdM), and corrective maintenance strategies.
- Plan furnace rebuilds, mold repairs, and automation upgrades.
- Implement TPM or reliability-centered maintenance practices.
4. Cost & Resource Management
- Prepare, own, and control OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Manage long-term investment plans (furnace upgrades, automation, new lines).
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
5. Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Ensure EHS compliance, zero accident culture, and regulatory standards.
- Manage cullet recycling, emissions, utilities, and sustainability programs.
- Promote safety mindset throughout all organizational levels.
6. People Leadership
- Lead and develop operational managers and engineers.
- Build succession planning, competency models, and training frameworks.
- Foster strong engagement and high-performance culture.
7. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, R&D, and Technical Teams.
- Represent the plant in customer audits and technical trials.
- Partner with corporate and regional teams on strategic projects.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience managing a glass bottle manufacturing plant.
- Experience & Technical Skills
- Proven experience as Factory Director / Plant Manager / General Manager in glass industry.
- Strong understanding of furnace operation, batch house, IS forming processes, mold shop, annealing, and cold end inspection.
- Familiar with TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and OEE improvement frameworks.
- Knowledge of ISO, GMP, FSSC, HACCP, and food-grade standards.
- Leadership & Behavioral Competencies
- Strategic and hands-on leadership style.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making under time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Capable of managing cross-cultural workforce (Japanese–Thai).
- Ability to coach and develop leaders.
