Overview:
An HCM Functional Consultant is a professional responsible for implementing and optimizing Human Capital Management software solutions within organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of both HR processes and the software systems that support them. HCM Functional Consultants bridge the gap between clients' HR teams and technical experts, ensuring that software solutions align with the client organization's HR goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in providing functional expertise for the HCM project in specific modules, such as Core HR, Time and Labor, Global Payroll, Absence Management, Compensation, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition Management
- Performance/Learning Management, or Succession Planning.
- Conduct thorough business requirement and fit-gap studies to design effective solutions for implementation, upgrades, enhancements, and blueprint workshops. Ensure that proposed solutions align with client needs and expectations.
- Ensure that client requirements are meticulously addressed, and feasible solutions are devised and delivered as agreed upon.
- Identify necessary technical, functional, and configuration changes resulting from the analysis of functional requirements, enhancements, or fixes to the HCM applications.
- Configure the HCM system to meet both client-specific requirements and statutory regulations for the relevant country.
- Guarantee the delivery of functional requirements that meet high-quality standards and comply with the terms outlined in the client contract.
- Formulate comprehensive test plans and develop test scripts. Review testing outcomes to ensure that system development aligns accurately with documented client requirements.
- Conduct training sessions for the client's user teams, contributing to a seamless transition to the newly implemented or enhanced system.
- Collaborate effectively with both the Functional and Development teams, either independently or collectively, to dissect client requirements, customized processes, reports, and interfaces.
- Utilize provided HCM tools or other relevant .NET applications to devise and implement solutions that cater to client-specific needs.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
- Male or female.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
- A solid track record of 2 to 5 years in implementing (HCM modules is highly prefer), with a proven history of successfully delivering full project life cycles for 2-3 projects within Southeast Asia.
- A profound comprehension of HCM business processes and adherence to best practices in the field.
- Ability to effectively translate functional requirements into well-defined technical deliverables.
- Self-driven and enthusiastic team player, demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication skills alongside strong interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing components through tools like Application Designer, Application Engine, SQL, BI Publisher, SQR, Application Package, and Integration Broker, among others.
- Proficiency in various programming languages such as XML, ASP, .NET, Java, and JavaScript will be a notable advantage.
- Proven experience in Leading one or more HCM implementations or upgrades, particularly in the context of version 9.2.
- Displayed Subject Matter
- Expertise (SME) in navigating the intricacies of the software development lifecycle.
